This policy describes information handling for the Boldly Kate publication at boldlykate.com and its hosted preview. Questions for the website operator can be sent to admin@boldlykate.com.

Reading without signing up

The publication has no reader account, newsletter form, public comments or upload feature. Its own code does not set cookies, store browser preferences or include advertising pixels and analytics scripts. Images and styles are served with the website.

Hosting infrastructure may process technical request information, such as an IP address, requested page, time, browser details and security events, to deliver and protect the service. A private preview may also use the hosting platform’s separate authentication features. Those platform functions follow the provider’s own privacy information and settings.

When a letter arrives

If you email us, we receive your address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to consider your question, respond, investigate a problem or review a correction. Writing to us does not subscribe you to a mailing list.

Please limit your message to relevant information. Contact links open your chosen email service; this website does not itself submit a contact form. Email providers may process correspondence in order to deliver and store it.

Services that help the site run

Hosting, security and email services may process information necessary to provide those services, including in countries different from your own. Information may also need to be disclosed to comply with applicable law or protect the service and its users. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-site targeted advertising.

External websites have their own information practices. Following a link to another service takes you outside this publication’s control.

Keeping and removing information

Correspondence is kept while needed to deal with the matter, preserve a relevant correction record or meet applicable obligations. The appropriate period depends on the message. Providers manage technical logs and backups under their own arrangements; deletion from active records does not necessarily remove every backup immediately.

Reasonable care is taken with information, but no electronic service can guarantee absolute security. This magazine is intended for adults and does not knowingly seek personal information from children. Contact us if a child has submitted information so we can review the matter.
